• This appears to be a slightly older model but still allows guests to connect to the open Wi-Fi network without having to enter a passcode, as typical Wi-Fi networks usually require. However, after the guest has successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network, they will be taken to an online portal (for Apple devices, this appears as a captive portal) to enter the passcode that the host or administrator has chosen.
• This does NOT have the ability for the host or administrator of the Wi-Fi network to create terms and conditions that the guest must agree to.
• The host or administrator can log in to the administrative control panel to turn the guest Wi-Fi network on or off, including changing the passcode if you choose to do so.
• The speed may depend on many factors, including but not limited to: where the router is placed, your Internet Service Provider, your ISP’s network conditions (such as time of day, weekends, or holidays), your device, the construction materials of your home or business, the types of devices connected, and the nature of online activity (e.g., streaming, downloading, etc.).
• This router I am selling is sealed from the factory with a few sticky tabs. The shrink wrap is NOT from the factory—I decided to shrink-wrap the box myself to keep it in pristine condition.
